About Me

👋🏻 My name is Paul.

I grew up in a tight-knit family in Ireland. My life has been shaped by strong women who taught me resilience, empathy and the importance of having fun, even when the going gets tough.

In fact, I believe that having fun, whatever that looks like to you, is one of the most important parts of life - and it's even better when you get to share that with others!

I live in London with my partner and outside of coaching, you'll usually find me trying new restaurants, exploring the city, traveling, or buried in a good book.

My Story

I didn’t take the traditional path. School was tough, I struggled to accept myself as a teenager when I realised I was gay, I left college early, and when I first joined the workforce, I had no idea what I was doing.

But I knew one thing: I was passionate about leadership. From the very start of my career in retail, I worked my ass off to get there.

Somehow, all these years later, I find myself at the heart of leadership in a fast-growing SaaS company. When I joined, I had zero technical experience — just curiosity, grit, and the belief that I could figure it out.

Nearly 10 years on, I’ve had the privilege of not just leading teams, but coaching and supporting people across the globe as they secured their first leadership roles. Being part of their journeys has been one of the greatest rewards of my career.

And through it all, I’ve noticed a pattern: leaders are expected to be bold and innovative, but often receive little to no training. Teams want connection and authenticity from their leaders, but too often those leaders don’t even know who they are yet.

I believe leadership starts with clarity — knowing what you stand for. From that foundation, you gain the confidence to be bold, the courage to show vulnerability, and the freedom to lead with genuine authenticity.

I’ve lived these struggles myself — imposter syndrome, trying to be everything to everyone, and losing sight of my true self.

That’s why I started Pathfinder: to help others skip the self-doubt spiral and step directly into their boldest, most authentic selves — ready to shake things up and make a real impact.

My Approach to Coaching

Leadership isn’t about titles or checklists — it’s about impact.
When we work together, you can expect me to uphold these values:

  • Empathy → I'll meet you where you're at and seek to understand you and your needs
  • Acceptance – I'll aim to create a space where you feel safe and heard for who you are
  • Integrity – I'll be honest, fair and act with authenticity
  • Empowerment – I'll act to help empower you to step into your strengths and understand your potential
  • Fun – well have a damn good time doing it!
My coaching is designed to help you see the best in yourself, build your confidence in who you are, and lead in a way that feels GOOD.

Why I Coach

I believe one of the most impactful things we can do in life is leave the world better than we found it. For me, that means helping good people become good leaders - because good leaders create ripples of positive impact far beyond themselves.

That belief started when I was a kid watching Star Trek. I was amazed at how those characters, all so different in style and personality, could lead with integrity, elevate the people around them, and inspire something greater.

That’s the kind of leadership I want to help bring into the world.
